Barramulla is situated at the southern territories of Kashmir (territory occupied by India) and borders with Sophore and Srinagar in the southern part of Kashmir. Barramulla Valley is famous for its vast apple orchards along with the famed varieties also from the valley.
Smells and Tastes: Floral and sweet Jasmine flowers, with sweet and spicy undertones
Growth Habits: Surprisingly the famed varieties in Baramulla tend to flower a bit longer, however they grow more vigorously and yield more than any other Kashmiri variety from the Indian side. The farmers of Baramulla have been farming and selecting these plants over many decades which has shaped a very homogeneous population of medium-long flowering heirloom variety.
The Baramulla Valley receives a fair share of monsoon rains and stays quite humid July-September, so these plants are acclimated to cold and wet as well as wet and warm conditions and perform without any issues in flowers or resin quality.
Vigorous plants that stretch heavily in flower. Topping early and training will tame and prepare for the impressive yields of flowers that take 12-14 weeks to flower outdoors.
